1) - AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS :
If there are injured people : immediately alert the police (17) or the fire service (18).
Remember to call your vehicle assistance number shown on your green card if your vehicle is undrivable.
Fill in your amicable settlement form at the site of the accident even of only one of the vehicles has been damaged.
Use only one form for the two vehicles however if there is damage to both, complete a form for each damaged vehicle.
Remember to include details of any witnesses and sign the form if you accept what has been written on it.
2) – HABITATION :
If it is a serious accident (fire, water damage etc..) take immediate measures to limit the damage.
In the case of a robbery, call the police and make a formal complaint.
Do an inventory of the missing articles and submit photos.
Get quotes for the replacement and/or repair of objects.
3) – SHOPS :
Take all measures to save the building and merchandise.
If the merchandise has deteriorated (fresh or frozen produce), contact a vetinarian so that he can take not of the dammage, take phots and draw up a list of damaged goods with their purchase invoices.
In the case of a robbery, call the police and make a formal complaint.
Do an inventory of the missing articles and submit photos.
Get quotes for the replacement and/or repair of objects.
4) – CIVIL RESPONSABILY :
Take the personal details of the third party and his/her insurer.
Ask the third party to make a claim with their own insurance company.
If your boundary has been damaged by a vehicle, remember to fill in the amicable settlement form with the vehicle owner.
If your goods are damaged keep them until you have received compensation.
In every event, do not forget to send your claim to your insurance agency as soon as possible. Please note :
Within 2 days in the case of theft,
Within 5 days for other cases.
